Dozens of people were evacuated from a Brooklyn building after a stairway collapsed Saturday night.

An eight-year-old boy fell one story when three of the stairwell landings at 433 Dean Street in Park Slope collapsed.

The boy was taken to Lutheran Hospital for his injuries.

Firefighters used engine ladders to bring residents out of the building, one at a time. It took two hours to clear the building.

The building's landlord reportedly was issued a violation from the Department of Building for having a defective staircase.
