West Branch, Iowa Fire Department Marks 125 Years

WEST BRANCH - The long-awaited celebration for the West Branch Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department's 125 years of dedication in fighting fires and responding to medical emergencies is almost here.

Festivities on Saturday will include an open house, a building dedication, water ball fights, carnival rides, a motorcycle show, food, drinks and live music featuring Oink Henderson and the Squealers. Prizes from 18 local businesses also will be raffled.
