A child playing with matches may have started a blaze that killed four family members in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on Friday, fire officials said.

Investigators believe the flames may have started when a lit match was dropped between couch cushions at the home on Wythe Place. Nine-year-old Aretha Williams, 7-month-old Dershawn Williams and two relatives, Marlene and Joseph Newton, died, and several others were injured.
