WILMINGTON, Ohio (AP) -- The roof of a church under construction collapsed Friday, injuring four workers, authorities said.

The workers were putting wooden trusses up on the Fellowship of Praise Church of God when a portion of the roof collapsed, said Bob Wysong, chief of the Clinton-Warren Joint Fire District near this southwest Ohio city.

The workers fell about 10 to 20 feet and had been pulled from the rubble before emergency personnel arrived about 3 p.m., Wysong said. He would not release the workers' names, but said none of their injuries were believed to be life-threatening.

Two of the injured workers were taken to Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington and two were flown to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. Hospital officials could not provide information on their condition.

The cause of the collapse had not been determined.
