Hybla Valley, VA -- Firefighters from Fairfax County responded to an early morning fire in the 3400 block of Beachcraft Drive. Crews discovered the remains of a set fire outside of the single-family residence.
A neighbor extinguished the 4:30 a.m. fire, while emergency crews were responding. No one was injured and damage was minimal.
This case has been added to the caseload of the Arson Task Force investigating a total of 38 serial arsons in the National Capital Region.
A $35,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for these crimes. Anyone with information may contact the Arson Task Force investigators at 301-77-ARSON.
