NORTH BERGEN - Firefighters made quick work of a three-alarm fire in a township warehouse yesterday, North Hudson Regional Fire and Rescue Deputy Chief Frank Montagne said.

Firefighters responded to the one-story, 150-foot-square warehouse at the corner of Dell Avenue and 48th Street on a 4:45 p.m. alarm and found smoke coming from each corner of the block-sized building's roof, Montagne said.

Because of the size of the warehouse and reports that children had been seen running from the building, firefighters called two more alarms by 5 p.m. to assist with search efforts, Montagne said.
