Cat And Dog Perish In New Jersey Home Blaze

An intense fire destroyed a Kinkora Road home yesterday morning and killed a dog and a cat, a firefighter said.

The fire began about 11 a.m. and arriving firefighters found the one-story home ablaze, with flames shooting out the windows, a firefighter with Franklin Fire Co. said. Residents escaped, but a dog and a cat trapped inside were killed, he said.
