Fire Breaks Out At Ohio Garage-Storage Building

A fire destroys a Fairborn apartment and storage garage and sends smoke billowing miles into the sky.

The fire broke out at the property in the 700 block of Herr Road Friday afternoon.

Investigators say this was a garage-storage building but there was also an apartment attached to the unit and most of the property was destroyed.

The person who lived in the apartment was not home at the time of the fire.

The blaze did over $150,000 in damages.

No word yet on the cause of the fire.
