Bradley Gardens, New Jersey Fire Caused By Fallen Lamp

BRIDGEWATER -- A fallen lamp is being blamed for a house fire at 142 Linden St. in Bradley Gardens last Thursday.

The lamp, according to Fire Official Gary Ewald, was plugged into the basement wall and was on when it was accidentally knocked over.

David, 42; Eric, 33; and Ryan Sapp, 16, were home at the time of the blaze. Ryan Sapp heard the smoke alarm and called police at 7:10 p.m.
