It seems appropriate for firefighters to raise money for child burn survivors, but that's not the only reason a particular Laurel-based group is fundraising this Saturday.

Jim Collins, Laurel's city and police spokesman, is the founder of Maryland's first chapter of the Red Knights International Firefighters Motorcycle Club.

The Red Knights heard about the Mid-Atlantic Burn Camp about two years ago, Collins said, and several members rode down to Harrisonburg, Va., to visit the camp last summer.
