    Montgomery County Firefighters Receive Valor Awards 30th Annual Chamber of Commerce Public Safety Awards Ceremony

    Twenty-two (22) fire and rescue personnel were honored for their heroic actions and community service at the 30th annual Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce Public Safety Awards ceremony held on March 26, 2004 at the Indian Spring Country Club, in Silver Spring.

    Elected officials, including County Executive Douglas M. Duncan and Maryland Lt. Governor Michael Steele, were joined by Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce officials and members in honoring more than 40 public safety officers from the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, Montgomery County Department of Police, Maryland National Capital Park Police
