This is a very smokey blaze. The fire is at on building on Easton Avenue in downtown New Brunswick between Hamilton Street and Somerset Street. This is where a house caught fire just after six this morning and been burning out of control ever since.

Around 7:20 a.m., the fire was a three-alarm blaze. The first building that was involved in this fire has been completely destroyed and it has damaged at least two adjacent buildings.

The fire is not under control but there are no injuries to report. The fire is less than a half-mile away from Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Downtown Brunswick. There are many streets closed in this area and it will stay that way until further notice.
