A Longtime Volunteer Firefighter Of Lincoln Park, New Jersey Fire Department Died

A service for Hans E. Becker, 82, a lifelong Lincoln Park resident, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Keri Memorial Funeral Home, 125 Main St., Lincoln Park.

Mr. Becker, who died Monday at home, was a stainless steel artisan for the Blickman Corp. in Weehawken for more than 40 years before retiring.

He served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post 279 in Lincoln Park and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6255 in Cedar Grove. Mr. Becker was a volunteer fireman with the Lincoln Park Fire Department Hose Company 1 for many years.
