NAZARETH -- Two people escaped unharmed when a fire broke out in a home Tuesday morning in the 100 block of North Broad Street.

Borough fire Chief Danny Keenhold said no one was injured when the blaze started about 5:30 a.m. in an upstairs room of the two-story home.

Keenhold said the home sustained fire damage to the second floor and attic and water damage to its first floor. The building is uninhabitable, he said.
