Franklin, New Jersey Crash Injures Two

FRANKLIN TWP. --Two Newfield residents were injured in an accident on Dutch Mill Road early Friday morning.

At 7:27 a.m., a 1995 Ford Mustang driven by a 17-year-old Newfield girl was traveling west on Dutch Mill Road near Whitehall Road. The driver lost control of the car on the snow-covered road and was struck by an eastbound 1989 Mercury Cougar driven by Kevin Crockett, 21, of Newfield.

The 17-year-old was ejected from her vehicle, which was cut in half by the crash. She was transported by ambulance to Cooper Trauma Center for treatment of her injuries.
