Minor Fire On Orient Avenue In New Jersey

Firefighters extinguished a small fire in an Orient Avenue house on Saturday night, officials from the Jersey City Fire Department said.

The one-alarm fire, called in at 10:08 p.m., began in the back of the detached, two-family house on Orient Avenue near Martin Luther King Drive and moved into the structure, firefighters said.

It caused minor damage to the back door and surrounding siding, reports said.
