There was an early morning church fire in Manhattan.

Fire officials are now calling this fire "suspicious," and fire officials are still on the scene. The fire happened at the intersection of Hamilton Terrace and 144th Street. This was the scene of a three-alarm fire.

When firefighter arrived on the scene shortly after 4:00 a.m. The building itself is a combination of part residence and part church. It houses the Nazareth Denominational Church. The fire began on the first floor and spread very quickly up through all four floors of the building.

It took firefighters about an hour to get this blaze under control. They have extinguished the flames and there are no injuries. However, several firefighters are being treated for exposure to the cold.

A full investigation is underway into this fire, but there is no word yet on the cause of this fire.
