    FORKS TWP. -- Fire destroyed one home and forced five other families out of their homes early Saturday morning in the Penn's Ridge subdivision of the township.

    Forks Township and Tatamy fire companies, Forks EMS and Plainfield EMS responded to the fire at 12:12 a.m. Saturday at 1390 Hawthorn Lane.

    Forks firefighters arrived within five minutes of the call and fire could already be seen flaring out the back of the home, township Fire Marshal Tim Weis said.
