Kentucky Firefighters Called To Kennel Fire

Several crews had to be called in to fight the fire at the remote location as well as try to rescue animals inside.
Lexington fire crews have knocked down a fire at a Lexington pet boarding kennel.

Bluegrass Pet Chalet caught on fire just after 5am Friday morning.

Several crews had to be called in to fight the fire at the remote location as well as try to rescue animals inside.

Firefighters were able to knock down the fire around 6:30.

Several animals died in the blaze. A number of injured animals were taken to the Woodford Veterinary Clinic.
