Fire Rages Through Park Jefferson, Indiana Apartments

A massive fire broke out on the east side of South Bend in the Park Jefferson apartment complex at approximately 10:00 PM Tuesday evening.

Eyewitnesses and building maintenance report having seen a lightening bolt hit the building at 9:57 PM at the very south end of the complex. Shortly afterward the flames erupted.
