Public Memorial Planned For Auburn Fire Captain Jon Cahill

The family of Jon Cahill, assisted by the Auburn Fire Department, have planned a public memorial service for the beloved husband, father, friend and fire captain.

The family of Jon Cahill, assisted by the Auburn Fire Department, have planned a public memorial service for the beloved husband, father, friend and fire captain. It will be held Saturday, June 12, 2004 at the Auburn Adventist Academy Auditorium, located at 5000 Auburn Way South. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Emergency vehicles will travel to the memorial service site in an organized procession, arriving approximately one-half hour before the service begins.

The public is invited to attend.

Representatives from over 50 Public Safety agencies are expected to attend, along with state and local dignitaries. The service will last approximately 90 minutes and include honor guards from across Washington State, a video presentation, and a few individual speakers.

A reception will follow at Grace Community Church, 1320 Auburn Way South.
