MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) -- The owner of a bowling alley was injured when a fire broke out in a storage area at the business.
Firefighters were called to Rose Bowl Sunday morning. They found the storage area engulfed in flames.
The Mason City Fire Department said the fire started in the area when some recently cleaned towels, which had retained heat from being dried, ignited.
Owner Jason Gramstad was treated at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa for smoke inhalation and later released, authorities said.
