LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- A 30,000-square-foot packaging warehouse west of Lawrenceville was destroyed by a fire that firefighters say is suspicious.

Gwinnett County fire crews began battling the fire around 4 p.m. Sunday. Seventy firefighters and three ladder trucks were on the scene.

The building, which was unoccupied, contained corrugated boxes and plastic bottles. It was owned by American Packaging Co., fire spokesman David Dusik said.

No one was injured in the fire but one firefighter was brought to the hospital as a precaution after complaining of possible heat exhaustion, Dusik said.

Investigators had not yet determined a cause of the fire.
