Bus Catches Fire On New Jersey Turnpike

A tour bus erupted in flames Friday morning just after passing through the New Jersey Turnpike's exit 7A toll booths in Washington Township
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP - A tour bus erupted in flames Friday morning just after passing through the New Jersey Turnpike's exit 7A toll booths in Washington Township, the Turnpike authority said.

Turnpike spokesman Joe Orlando said all the passengers on the coach bus exited the flaming vehicle without injury. The incident was reported at 11:30 a.m.

Firefighters from the Washington Fire Department spent an hour extinguishing the blaze. The charred vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
