A woman who bailed her boyfriend out of jail after one attack, only to be set on fire by him last month, died of her injuries Saturday, according to police.
Dorothy Lundy, 53, died around 7:50 a.m. of injuries suffered May 10, according to Miami Police Department Lt. Bill Schwartz.
Police said Thomas Mobley Jr., 47, doused Lundy in gasoline and ignited the liquid.
Lundy's son, 11, who witnessed the incident, suffered burns to his hands as he tried to put out the flames.
Police said Lundy bailed Mobley out of jail in April after he allegedly poured hot oil on her. Mobley remained at large Saturday.
