New Jersey House Fire Probe Nets 3 Suspects

LAWRENCE TWP. -- State police have identified and questioned three juvenile suspects and charges are still pending in a fire that destroyed an abandoned house late Sunday afternoon.

Detective Bob Coia, from the Port Norris State Police, said the three suspects, all from this area, were found after Trooper Stephen Doelling talked to residents of the neighborhood.

"After the fire, Trooper Doelling started to canvas the neighborhood and the suspects were found," he said. "There may be a couple of charges filed, but I cannot comment on any specifics at this time."
