Volunteer Fire Department Budgets On Chopping Block

Proposed budget cuts may affect the service of volunteer fire departments in Mecklenburg County, and both residents and volunteer firefighters said they are worried that if the departments do suffer a budget cut – their ability to keep people safe will also suffer.
