Maryland Volunteer Firefighter Died Fighting For His Life
Doug Thomas, 41, Assistant Chief for Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department died Wednesday, July 9 at 6 p.m.
On September 16, 2001 at 10:45 a.m. he was injured while responding to a boat fire along with other firefighters at Kent Island Yacht Club in Chester, Md., according to Fire Captain, Justin Davis.
While en route to the call, Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department
