Fire Insurance Costs May fall With New Rating

Because the Westside Volunteer Fire Department added two fire trucks, installed new equipment and upgraded the fire hydrants, state officials improved the district's fire protection rating from a 5 to 4, a move that generally is followed by reduced insurance premiums.
