Three-Alarm Fire Rips Through Supply Warehouse In Queens

A three-alarm fire guts a restaurant supply warehouse in Queens.

It happened along busy Roosevelt Avenue, right in the shadow of the number seven line. The first report of fire came in just after nine last night.

Within minutes, the first units to reach the warehouse were calling for backup. The fire quickly went to three alarms with close to 140 firefighters on the scene. Now that the fire's out, the cause is under investigation.
