Charity Run to Benefit Widows and Children of Deceased FDNY Firefighters

More than 1,000 runners are expected to take part Sunday in the 23rd annual Buckley's to Kennedy's Heroes Run to benefit the disabled and the widows and children of deceased FDNY firefighters.
May 16, 2003 -- More than 1,000 runners are expected to take part Sunday in the 23rd annual Buckley's to Kennedy's Heroes Run to benefit the disabled and the widows and children of deceased FDNY firefighters.
The six-mile race begins at 10 a.m. in front of Buckley's Restaurant, on 2926 Avenue S, in Marine Park, Brooklyn, and ends at Riis Park in the Rockaways.
There is a $25 entrance fee. Last year, the 1,500 runners who participated raised more than $100,000.
