An elderly woman was critically injured in a blaze in her apartment in a Park Avenue co-op last night, fire officials said.

The woman, whose name and age were not released, lived in a second-floor apartment at 605 Park Ave. between East 64th Street and East 65th Street.

The blaze broke out in the bedroom at about 9:20 p.m.

The fire was confined to the apartment, although smoke spread through several floors, officials said.

The fire was declared under control within an hour.

The injured woman was listed in critical condition at Cornell-Weill Medical Center where she was treated for burns.

A spokesman for the building said it houses about 100 units with apartments costing anywhere from $300,000 to $4,000,000.
