Firefighters Thursday morning battled a blaze at a business in Northeast Portland that was strikingly similar to a fire many of them had fought just the day before.

Thursday's fire gutted a two-story building on the corner of NE 80th Avenue and Glisan Street that houses a furniture store, a second-hand store, an adult video store and a nightclub called Club Rio.

When firefighters arrived, the large building was already engulfed in flames and the roof appeared on the verge of collapse.

Traffic delays: Road closures around the fire caused major traffic delays in the area. Glisan Street is closed between NE 79th Avenue and 82nd Avenue. SE Stark Street, another major roadway in east Portland, is closed between SE 80th Avenue and SE 82nd Avenue due to danger of a building collapse at the scene of Wednesday
