Los Angelese Firefighters Battle Greater Alarm Fire

On Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at 1154 hours the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a Greater Alarm Structure Fire at 5103 West Hollywood Boulevard in the Los Feliz area.
On Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at 1154 hours ten companies of Los Angeles Firefighters, two Battalion Command Officer Teams, two LAFD Rescue Ambulances, one helicopter, and other support personnel, under the direction of Battalion Commander Michael Greenup, responded to a Greater Alarm Structure Fire at 5103 West Hollywood Boulevard in the Los Feliz area.

First units on the scene reported a two-story structure with heavy smoke showing from the first and second floors. Firefighters used forcible entry tools to enter the involved occupancy and aggressively advanced handlines in the structure to attack the fire.
