WASHINGTON (AP) -- An Illinois company is recalling 37,000 oil lamps because the glass wick holders can shatter when lit, posing a fire hazard to consumers.

DesignPac, Inc., of Northlake, has received one report of a glass wick holder shattering, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said Thursday. No injuries have been reported.

The recalled oil lamps come in two styles: the Vintage Rose Oil Lamp is a clear, heart-shaped glass container about 6 inches tall and the Love Potion Oil Lamp is a clear, doorknob-shaped glass container about 5 inches tall with heart-shaped beads on the outside.

The oil lamps were sold at Target stores nationwide from December 2002 to February 2003 for about $7.

The government warned consumers to stop using the oil lamps immediately. Consumers can contact Target at 1-800-440-0680 for more information.
