An unlikely object damaged a fire station in Illinois yesterday.

News sources across the state of Illinois reported that an object fell from the sky last night around midnight. People called their local police stations to report that a bright blue light was falling and flashing through the sky.

That blue light was apparently a meteorite. The meteorite hit the fire station as well as a couple of homes in Park Forest Illinois. According to Park Forest Fire Department Captain Ziegle, the chunks of rocks hit the roof of the station causing minor damage.
