Water supply issues initially hampered the efforts of Chicago firefighters battling a warehouse fire Wednesday morning, according to WLS-TV.
Crews responded to the building that houses San Jose Imports -- a candy factory -- in the 3700 block of West 38th Street shortly after 9 a.m.
The fire department had to bring in water to fight the blaze because of the lack of hydrants in the industrial area.
The fire was contained to the one building and was raised to a 3-11 alarm before it was brought under control.
Hazmat teams were called believed propane tanks were believed to be inside the building, they ended up being helium tanks
A firefighter sustained a minor shoulder injury and is expected to be OK.
A worker told the news station that there was a power surge and the power went off and on inside the plant and that he tried to put out a fire with an extinguisher before calling for help.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
