Family, friends and co-workers of the six people who perished in the first World Trade Center terror attack gathered at nearby St. Peter's Church - as they have every year since the 1993 attack - for a mass in honor of those killed when a bomb exploded in the Tower 1 parking garage.

The blast on Feb. 26, 1993, killed John DiGiovanni, Robert Kirkpatrick, Stephen Knapp, William Macko, Wilfredo Mercado and Monica Rodriguez Smith, who was pregnant. More than 1,000 others were injured.

During the hour-long mass, people prayed and sang songs and remembered those lost.
