Worker Falls to Death at St. Louis Dome

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A worker fell 200 feet to his death inside the domed stadium that is home of the St. Louis Rams football team.

A work crew was replacing sound-absorbing tiles in the ceiling when the man fell from a beam, said Bruce Sommer, director of the convention center complex that includes Edward Jones Dome.

Michael Holt, 45, was wearing a harness when he fell Wednesday afternoon, a fire department spokesman said.

Police and the Occupational, Safety and Health Administration are investigating the death.
