Malcolm Knowles looked yesterday at the charred remains of the former Farmers National Bank building on Main Street, the bank where he opened his first savings account about 1922. The two-story, red-brick building was extensively damaged by a two-alarm fire that was reported shortly before 8:30 p.m..
