Five Dead in Seneca Falls Fire This Morning

Seneca Falls--Five people are dead after a fire swept through two apartments in an apartment complex
Five people are dead after a fire swept through two apartments in an apartment complex in Seneca Falls.

Emergency crews that arrived at The Tudor Village Townhouses and Apartment complex shortly before five o'clock found two apartments ''totally engulfed in flames.''

Seneca Falls Police Chief Frederick Capozzi says the dead include two elderly people in one apartment, and a family of three in another, including one infant.

Police haven't given names of the victims yet.

Firefighters and police remain on the scene trying to determine what started the fire.

Members of the NYS Fire Investigators office are there.
