Community-Minded citizen Gets a Lift From City's Fire Department

An Easton woman who is active in city government and community affairs had to be taken out an upstairs window of her home Sunday after back spasms left her unable to move. City firefighters used a ladder truck to take out Nadine Loane aboard a stretcher from the second floor of the home.
