At 2:00 p.m. the Sacramento Fire Department responded to multiple reports of a building on fire at 3900 Fruitridge Road. Initial reports stated there was a taco stand on fire.

When the first Fire Fighters arrived they found heavy black smoke from the back of the Hites Market and Taqueria Taco Stand. Engine #6 was the earliest arriving Fire Company on the first alarm and immediately called for a second alarm for additional resources.
