Firehouse is about to start the new year with a new look and feel.
The Firehouse brand, which includes Firehouse Magazine, Firehouse.com, Firehouse Expo and Firehouse World, is embarking on numerous upgrades, beginning with a new logo and a website relaunch coming this week.
Readers will also experience a new layout and style in the January issue of Firehouse Magazine.
The new website will incorporate upgraded forums, updated navigation and search features, more multi-media options, social media integration and more.
“It’s going to look great,” said Firehouse website editor Peter Matthews. “The navigation is easier and the look is cleaner,” he said, making for a better user-experience. He also noted that a new buyer's guide will allow site visitors to find products and manufacturers more easily.
All regular features will be up and running post-launch, and even more upgrades will be forthcoming in the next months.
“The upgrades we have made across our product platforms, and the new products we have recently released, reflect the changes the fire service is facing,” said Firehouse publisher Patricia Maroder. “In addition to easier and cleaner site navigation, we’ve made articles easier to read and more visually appealing, incorporated more multi-and social media elements, and have launched our mobile platform and our Complimentary Limited iPad Edition.”
Maroder added, “The Firehouse team selected a newer and bolder logo, which not only works well across all our products, but is easily identifiable as a Firehouse product.”
The Firehouse family would like to thank our readers for your many years of loyalty, and for joining us in this next new chapter of our brand.
