Vegas House Fire Causes $425K in Damage

A house fire Wednesday night at the Las Vegas Country Club caused an estimated $425,000 damage, Clark County officials said.

Jan. 26--A house fire Wednesday night at the Las Vegas Country Club caused an estimated $425,000 damage, Clark County officials said.

Clark County firefighters responded at 10:41 p.m. to the fire at 836 Vegas Valley Drive, south of Tam O Shanter, and arrived to find the two-story home in flames, officials said.

Forty-five firefighters battled the fire, which caused the tile roof to collapse, officials said. No one was in the residence at the time, and no firefighters were injured.

Firefighters brought the fire under control in about 75 minutes, officials said. Fire investigators have not determined what caused the fire.
