Maryland Firefighter Finds Twin Brother in Crash

A Bowie volunteer firefighter immediately recognized the vehicle when he got to the scene of a crash early Wednesday -- it belonged to his twin brother.

The driver, who was pinned along with the passenger, was Chris Murdoch, whose twin, Travis, was on the ambulance, according to WJLA.

The car veered off the road and hit a tree near Stonehaven Lane and Stoneybrook Drive in Bowie early Wednesday morning, trapping Murdoch and another man.

Chris, also a firefighter at the Bowie department, was transported to a local trauma center where he remains critical but stable.
