Court records indicate Troy police investigators arrested Tameka Evette Darby on Monday, and charged her with felony first-degree arson.

Records indicate police charged her with using a cigarette lighter to intentionally set fire to a room in the hospital with knowledge that other people were inside the building. Records also say the fire caused damages to a hospital bed in the room during the fire, which happened on Saturday. Other details about what happened were not available when officials at the Troy Police Department could not be reached.
