The home of a Tennessee firefighter caught fire Thursday afternoon.

Firefighter Kevin Lewis told The Commercial Appeal that he smelled smoke and realized the house was on fire.

He grabbed his son, Landon, 5, and got out of the house.

The paper reports that an electrical short in the attic area sparked the blaze, and one firefighter was transported in stable condition to Saint Francis Hospital for heat exhaustion.
