March 27--MALIBU, Calif. -- Firefighters pulled an 89-year-old woman and her oxygen tank out of her Malibu home Monday night after it caught fire.
The woman, whose breathing is assisted by an oxygen tank, called 911 just before 9 p.m. after the fire broke out inside the home on Little Rock Way.
Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies arrived and fire crews were right behind them. They pulled the woman from the burning home.
Paramedics took her to a nearby hospital, where she was treated for smoke inhalation and is expected to be fine.
Three firefighters were also briefly hospitalized and treated for smoke inhalation, according to fire officials.
Fire crews quickly brought the blaze under control. Officials do not believe the fire was intentionally set but investigators are trying to determine what sparked it.
