Two Boston Firefighters Injured at Apartment Blaze

All residents were able to safely evacuate their units after a fire broke out in the East Boston neighborhood Sunday night.

The Boston Fire Department responded to an apartment fire Sunday night that left two firefighters with minor injuries.

All residents were able to safely evacuate their units after a fire broke out at 7 Harve Street in the East Boston neighborhood around 5:14 p.m., according to WHDH-TV.

There are three units in the building and 23 people were displaced by the fire.

Two firefighters were treated for minor injuries on the scene for debris in their eyes.

No other injuries were reported.

Damages are estimated at $250,000 and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
